Data Engineer (Minneapolis, MN)

The Data Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Carrot Health’s MarketView solutions by creating a best-in-class data architecture to support application functionality and data science.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will develop databases and data solutions to support efficiencies in the MarketView platform, including the following:

  • Design and code complex, automated data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources into Snowflake.
  • Build and maintain database schemas and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure data pipeline solutions can support integrations into Tableau, R and Python for consumption by the Product Engineering team.
  • Identify, design and implement internal process improvements, such as automating manual processes, optimizing data storage and delivery, creating R functions and packages for the Product Engineering team, etc.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and implementing software as a Data Engineer and/or Software Engineer.
  • SQL knowledge and experience designing and working with relational databases.
  • Experience using patterns to create complex, re-useable, configurable software to account for differences and similarities across customers.
  • Experience with Python and/or R.
  • Experience gathering and analyzing data requirements to understand optimal data management.

Desired Skills / Pluses

  • Experience scripting using Python/Bash.
  • Experience with Snowflake (or similar data warehouse) and/or Matillion (or similar ETL tool).
  • Experience with healthcare data and/or marketing campaigns.

Senior Product Engineer (Minneapolis, MN)

The Senior Product Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of Carrot Health’s healthcare machine learning and business intelligence solutions.  You will apply analytical rigor, critical thinking, and creativity to solve complex issues while working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

Development of the MarketView platform including the following:

  • Collaborate with product management to understand company, customer and market needs and devise possible solutions by developing data visualizations and reports in Tableau software.
  • Research new value-added data sources to enhance Carrot Health’s consumer database and work with Data Engineering to build robust data models which will support visualization and predictive modelling.
  • Research and apply new statistical learning model approaches to improve Carrot Health’s modeling capabilities.
  • Build pipelines to integrate data into the Carrot Health databases.
  • Design and implement processes to automate data refreshes to Tableau dashboards
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and R.
  • Experience working with and analyzing large data sets in a cloud environment.

Customer Solutions Manager (Minneapolis, MN)

The Customer Solutions Manager will lead the delivery of consulting services and success milestones with existing customers, functioning as the primary client relationship and business leader for key accounts; work with multidisciplinary teams to manage projects and drive successful engagement by senior organization leaders; act as a customer liaison for the product development team, gathering requirements that inform new product design; and manage accounts, identify new and expanded opportunities for revenue growth, ensure renewal of existing business, and function as a trusted advisor developing long-term customer relationships.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy the Carrot MarketView platform, including project management, training and ongoing use.
  • Develop new consulting services opportunities that enhance the ongoing strategic business relationship between Carrot Health and payer and provider customers.
  • Translate customer business objectives into well-designed solutions that best leverage MarketView platform capabilities.
  • Lead business and technical design sessions; work with solution architects to design and document solutions that are aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Develop customer strategies based on a synthesis of cross-functional perspectives (both customer and internal).
  • Conduct current state assessments, evaluate results and present solutions in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Execute and deliver high-quality engagement tasks, both independently and in a team environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Develop deep customer relationships at all levels of organizations and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Contribute to the pursuit of renewals and new business through drafting/writing proposals and presenting to customer executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 3+ years of experience with payers and/or providers, bringing domain expertise and knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • 3+ years business consulting or similar experience.
  • Strong executive-level presence and business communication skills (including presentation development and public speaking).
  • Ability to work independently and manage relationships with customers.
  • A mix of healthcare operating knowledge with consulting experience and business process orientation is desirable.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% or possibly more.

Analytics Solutions Manager (Minneapolis, MN)

The Analytics Solutions Manager is responsible for building data and analytic-driven solutions to support healthcare payor and provider customers. You will apply analytical rigor, critical thinking, and creativity to solve complex issues while working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Primary Responsibilities

Support the Carrot Health Customer Solutions team, Product Management team, and customers directly through the following:

  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions and Product Management to understand customer needs and devise data-driven analyses and custom reports to support
  • Work directly with Customer Solutions to provide analytical support for strategic customer accounts
  • Build tableau dashboard visualizations and PowerPoint presentations to communicate analysis to customer – lead presentation of analysis directly to customer
  • Respond to customer needs with data and analytic-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Management to build ROI calculators for various modules in the Carrot MarketView platform
  • Build predictive models, segmentation models, and create other data-driven insights to support product marketing and sales
  • Research new value-added data sources to enhance Carrot Health’s consumer database and work with Data Engineering and the Development team to support build-out of robust data models which will support visualization and predictive modelling
  • Research and apply new statistical learning model approaches to improve Carrot Health’s modeling capabilities
