Marketing Manager (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Marketing Manager will assist the senior leadership team in developing and executing a strategic marketing plan to drive revenue growth and company awareness.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and managing a comprehensive content marketing program, including white papers, case studies, blogs, and other assets.
  • Develop marketing materials, including sales presentation decks, brochures, and ads, in partnership with internal teams and outside partners.
  • Support internal teams with delivery of brand standards in presentation decks & customer communication.
  • Manage a social media presence, in coordination with outside partners.
  • Manage a PR program, in coordination with outside partners.
  • Coordinate and manage an external conference/trade show program.
  • Coordinate and manage a webinar program and other company-hosted digital events.
  • Maintain website content and messaging, including measuring and optimizing website analytics.
  • Work with the sales and business development teams to track lead generation and the effectiveness of various marketing efforts, utilizing HubSpot CRM.
  • Coordinate regular meetings with sales and management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in managing business-to-business marketing programs in the healthcare, technology, software, and/or consulting sectors.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing, and tracking multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.

Product Manager (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Product Manager will manage portions of the Growth module of MarketView, Carrot Health’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. The Growth module packages Carrot Health’s data, analytics, and visualization capabilities related to market intelligence, member acquisition and retention, and strategic product planning in the healthcare payer market. This role manages complex projects, creates meaningful insights, and helps our customers solve challenging problems. This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the vision, strategy, and long-term success of the product offering.
  • Work at the intersection of the Market, the Customer, and the Technology – and closely with Development, Engineering, Customer Solutions, and Sales & Marketing teams - to build and enhance the product based on industry research and the needs of customers and prospects.
  • Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert of the product; manage communication and knowledge transfer across all areas of the company; work directly with the sales channel and customers.
  • Create and maintain product feature definitions and wireframes; work with Engineering and Development teams to define product requirements.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy; help them understand the product value proposition, positioning, key benefits, and target customers.
  • Build market-facing product content – including product demonstrations, case studies, methodology and validation - to support sales, marketing, and customer teams.
  • Contribute to the pursuit of new sales, customer renewals, and customer expansion through supporting proposals and presenting to (prospective) customer executives.
  • Analyze trends in product utilization to understand user adoption and experience; use this information to inform future product enhancements.
  • Conduct market research to understand target customer needs and issues and find innovative solutions for existing and new market segments.
  • Conduct market research to identify new vendors that can add value to product offering.
  • Assess market competitors and identify ways to create a unique value proposition and competitive advantage within product offering.
  • Interact with customers, prospects, and the general market via sales presentations, customer demo’s, webinars, and other market-facing activities.
  • Stay on top of current market trends and develop long-term plans for the success of the product line.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending education workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with healthcare payers, bringing domain expertise and knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, analytics, insights, or consulting.
  • Functional experience in marketing analytics, marketing strategy, predictive modeling, consumer segmentation, campaign performance reporting, consumer data analytics, and Medicare Advantage is preferred.
  • Familiar with Tableau or similar data visualization/business intelligence platforms.
  • Familiar with SQL, R, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Familiar with Jira, Confluence, or similar issue tracking/collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience analyzing and interpreting data.

Senior Software Engineer (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for supporting the full-stack development, implementation, and maintenance of Carrot Health’s MarketView and User Management platforms. You will apply software programming best practices, analytical rigor, critical thinking, and creativity to solve complex issues while working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

Development of the Carrot MarketView platform, including the following:

  • Enhance and maintain the MarketView and User Management web applications.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs; confer with team members; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Manage and guide the work of an additional Software Engineer.
  • Build repeatable and scalable solutions by leveraging computer science best practices.
  • Program well-designed, testable, efficient code which is delivered on time and of the highest quality.
  • Provide technical support to the Operations and R&D teams during testing and after deployment.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or another related field along with 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Programming experience with JavaScript, preference for using Node.js, but experience with other web frameworks considered (Flask, Django, Laravel or Rails).
  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems within a cloud environment.
  • Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project.
  • Knowledge of the fundamentals of web app design including; knowledge of REST API structure, SQL Injection/XSS risk points, promises or async/await experience.
  • The ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time.
  • The ability to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and technical design skills.
  • A background in healthcare technology and Software as a Service is preferred.
