Cloud Operations Engineer (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Cloud Operations Engineer will help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that supports daily internal and external operations of Carrot Health, including the MarketView™ web application. You will apply software programming best practices, analytical rigor, critical thinking, and creativity to solve complex issues while working with multidisciplinary teams and customers.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

Development and Support of the Carrot Health Cloud Infrastructure and MarketView platform including the following:

  • Develop software and AWS system solutions by studying information needs; confer with team members; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
  • Build repeatable and scalable solutions by leveraging computer science best practices.
  • Program well-designed, testable, efficient code which is delivered on time and of the highest quality.
  • Provide technical support to the Operations and R&D teams during testing and after deployment.
  • Drive and support system availability, scale, and performance activities.
  • Identify and implement AWS operational best practices.
  • Assist in managing the full AWS asset lifecycle, provisioning, automation, and security.
  • Improve and operate scalable, available, fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
  • Assist with pen testing, IDS monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an application engineer, software development engineer, web development engineer, front end engineer or similar.
  • 2-3 years of experience in AWS SysOps or DevOps environments.
  • A comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, R and Python.
  • The ability to prioritize activities and deliver projects on time.
  • The ability to gather and analyze business requirements.

Healthcare Business Development Manager (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Healthcare Business Development Manager is responsible for all aspects of executing a strategic, consultative sales process for prospective business channel business partners at a national level.  This position is an incredible opportunity to work with a high growth company in a fast-growing market. This individual will be a highly motivated self-starter, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to close business through a consultative process is essential. Experience in healthcare and/or marketing is required..

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business via sales of the MarketView solution through assigned channel partners; create a sales process and close deals in targeted markets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for acquisition of new healthcare channel partners; drive revenue from those partners, both directly and through mutual end-customers.
  • Develop relationships and structure partnerships with channel partners.
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Promote Carrot Health within channel organizations.
  • Coordinate leads and sales process within the channel with the appropriate salesperson within Carrot Health.
  • Participate in Carrot Health sales discussions as needed.
  • Manage potential channel conflict with other sales channels.
  • Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of partner programs; improve programs and otherwise ensure effective engagement.
  • Work to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet revenue goals.
  • Manage data in the CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate, and documents are attached.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Communications or related field.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding annual sales goals.
  • 2+ years sales experience in healthcare.
  • Experience selling data analytics, business intelligence, marketing segmentation, consumer modeling, selling directly to marketing/agency or marketing services preferred.

Product Analyst (Full-Time, Minneapolis, MN)

The Product Analyst will use technical and soft skills to help drive the successful development and implementation of our MarketView Software as a Service offering.

This is a full-time, salaried, overtime-exempt position based in Minneapolis, MN.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Translate market and customer requirements into technical requirements needed to facilitate Product Development and/or product prototyping
  • Maintain subject matter expertise related to specific healthcare domain areas and translating this knowledge to inform product feature development.
  • Maintain internal and external training documentation.
  • Conducting market research to help inform strategic direction of the product offering.
  • Actively participate in daily/weekly development activities, such as sprint planning meetings and daily standups
  • Conduct QA/UAT on enhancements/additions to the MarketView platform
  • Track and report on Key Performance Indicators for the assigned product

Other Responsibilities you may be involved with

  • Support Customer Solutions Managers with technical implementation of the MarketView platform to ensure customer requirements are understood and documented.
  • Review, summarize, and treat ad hoc data files from our customers or other 3rd parties to align with defined data architecture

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics or another related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in healthcare domain, with particular experience in any of the following:
    • Health plan Quality improvement, Star Rating, or risk adjustment programs.
    • Population Health Management
    • Health plan benefit design, sales and/or marketing
  • Experience working with Software as a Service offerings
  • Proficient using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Quality measure sets -- technical definitions, update cadence, and application in government-sponsored programs. Quality measure sets of highest interest include HEDIS, PQA, and CAHPS.
  • Experience working with healthcare Claims, EHR, EMR, CRM and/or membership data.
